Advantages: a fantastic nostalgic musical trip

...AS much as i am a huge fan of all things Kandi'ed, they seem to release an awful lot of compilations every year, which as brilliant as some of the tracks are on the albums, they still sound the same every year. I love the 3 album packs, but bought brand new they do dent the pocket money slightly, and i tend to get bored of the albums very quickly. On saying that i do enjoy the nostalgic trips on the Back To Love series, and i love the fact that the first CD gives us some good old classic house/electronica and the second moves into more groove/soul stuff. Some tracks on these albums get lost in memory and sound, but when heard again definitely ignites the senses and memories...and Back To Love 03.03 is no different. I'd be bold enough to say i think BTL 03.03 could be their best to date, having bought more recent volumes in the series... Read review

Advantages: Always nice to hear a band play live

Up until this time Levine had never tried song writing, but under the influence of The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel and Stevie Wonder, he suddenly found he had a knack for it. It was at this time that Jesse started playing keyboards and the sound finally began to come together. Meeting up with their old pals back in L.A, they recruited James Valentine to play guitar and Maroon 5 were born. In 2001 Maroon 5 signed to Octone Records and hit the studio with producer Matt Wallace. The resulting album "SONGS ABOUT JANE" was released in June 2002.
