...albums, but this one - 0898 -is not one of their best, in my opinion. There are twelve tracks on it, but the only ones that I listen to repeatedly are 'Old Red Eyes Is Back' & 'Bell - Bottomed Tear', both of which are excellent, but the rest of the album pales into insignificance in comparison to these two outstanding tracks. 0898 is an album that really made the beautiful south a unique band. Just from the front cover..(which the record company where most annoyed at) it was clear to see Heaton's gang aren't in it for the money. A couple of really classic songs are featured, "Domino Man" - excellent song, with a real-upbeat feel. Heatons song writing talents go really obscure with the "36D" to the really beautiful "Rocking Chair" - a song by Briana Corrigan. A must for ...

This is a great band, I don’t know what it is about them but I just can’t help but love there music. I bought their album, which was in the bargain bin due to poor sales. But when I started listening I found that it was a brilliant album from a brilliant band. Although they have a distinct sound none of the tracks are radical, but this makes a wonderful album.
