One Cold Winter's Night... Gets me hot ;)
Review of One Cold Winter's Night - Kamelot by  GerlofL

Advantages: Awesome
Disadvantages: you also have to sleep.

...in 1998, changing the sound of the band drasticly, for the good though. since 1995 they released 10 cds, of which 2 are live performances. The band currently exists of: Roy Khan - Vocals Thomas Youngblood - Guitar Glenn Barry - Bass Casey Grillo - Drums Oliver Palotai - Keyboards This review is about their 9th album / 2nd live album: 'One Cold Winter's Night' out of 2006. -------The Tracks------ *Notice* These tracks are played live, but were not written for this, therefor it is a compilation of previous work, however, I review this album, and the versions of the older tracks as played here. I will put between '()' where the track was first heared. Another sidenote, the length is the liveversion, not of the original... Read review

MAD to miss this
Review of Mad Season - Matchbox 20 by  pakalang

Advantages: sheer genius!
Disadvantages: didn't make it big here..

...beat, excellent mixed of guitar and drums, and very alive vocal! Just sheer genius. “Can you help me I'm bent I'm so scared that I'll never Get put back together Keep breaking me in And this is how we will live With you and me bent” 10.Bed Of Lies~~slow rock, to the likes of If You’re Gone just now.. 11.Leave~~keyboard mixes with slow drum beat.. another good ballad 12.Stop~~a more upbeat tempo like Angry(1st track)! 13. You Won’t Be Mine~~a long song, finishing off with a slow-rock tempo.. Keyboard/piano plays a major part in this song.. There you go.. This is definitely one of my favourite album, if not my FAVOURITE!. Matchbox 20-Mad Season is available in all major music retailers. It’s £11.49 the last time I checked at www.play247.com! You'll be MAD to miss it! Official website... Read review

Madness Madness they call it Madness
Review of Wonderful - Madness by  Del_Boy

Advantages: It's Madness need more be said... well ok then the tunes are stunning, the lyrics are wonderful
Disadvantages: No one bought this album.. WHY WHY O WHY!!!

..., but that isn't the point. This song is just an out and out old schooler, in a similar vein to Night boat to cairo and One step beyond, in my opinion. 9/10 - 10/10 if you love dancing about! 4am *** "Its 4 in the morning why don't you call me, I'm sorry I hurt you, I still want you back" - People who bought the Suggs solo Album 'The lone ranger' will be familiar with this tune, given a Madness work over its actually better than the original, and the original was very good. 8/10 - 10/10 if you are in a hopelessly romantic mood! The Wizard ********** - This song is very reminiscent of Night boat to cairo, this is lyrically one of the weakest songs on the album, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. It just means all of the other songs are masterpieces. Any other band in existence would not be able to make a song out... Read review
