the FLc's are a group of musicians from Nuu Yawk who dont mind putting across their opinions. This is the second outing from the rap/rock crossovers, and continues the trend of its predecessor 'Come find yourself' using simple melodies and chords. Only this time they've slightly left behind the more rockesque sound in favour for a much more chilled sound. Huey finds himself taking a leaf from big time crooner Barry White, with an album ladden of 'chilled' sounds and beats. Mr White even gets a song for him on the First single 'Love Unlimited' with Huey impersonating Mr White with great effect. Alot of the album consists of this laid back vibe but they'll all different and cover a wide range of themes from Hueys dog Suger, selling knocked off crack in Korean Bodeaga and wild nights out in the Gospel like 'Big night out' in which Huey manages to make the phrase 'Super models on my D' almost angelic and pure of sin. The only thing i think that spoils this album are th more rockier tracks like South Side and 10th Street, although not bad songs they just seem to break up the relaxing mood of the album. all in all a worthwhile buy
