...I remember, back in the eighties, my Uncle, whom I lived with for a while, bursting into the house, fresh from a trip to Ireland, and proclaiming with a gleam in his eyes "I have got something here that is gonna blow you away !" With that he strode over to the sound system, thrust in a cassette, cracked open a few beers (no fine wines in those drunken days of rebelliousness !! Hee Hee) and cranked up the sounds to full volume ! What followed opened up my senses to a whole new type of music for me......The Pogues. How to describe them..well there's a thing...they do not fit into any existing category as far as I am concerned. Their music is a mix of traditional Irish Folk and and a type of Punk Rock synonymous with The Clash. Advantages: Most Tracks are AWESOME
Disadvantages: Very small

...The Bloodhound Gang's third album "Hooray For Boobies" was a classic record filled with techno-rock that was consistently origina and interesting. It contained around ten really good tracks and quite a few bad ones and skits. I like to think of their fourth release: Hefy Fine as Hooray For Boobies without the skits and bad tracks. (I myself am not interested in skits at all especially if they are four seconds long so i shall not comment on them.) 1. Strictly for the Tardcore [skit] 2. Balls Out This is unfortunately a rather dull track that almost takes off but essentially it doesn't have enough in it to really be good let alone great. 3. Foxtrot Uniform Charlie Kilo Arguably their best track to date, the 1st single of Hefty Fine is a masterpiece of comic rock. The lyrics are all about fornication but done quite inventively... Advantages: Great Techno beats with brilliant lyrics and some guitar
Disadvantages: some tracks leave a little to be desired

...Since bloodhound gang were shot into the lime light with thier third album horay for boobies and the notirious single "Bad Touch" BHG havent made a new album untill now. this album with a mixture of songs from a point of view of jimmy pops ex breaking up with him and a song dedicated to euphemisms for sex. the lyrics are on top form and a good album to follow on to. the music isnt too catchy on many of the tracks but they are memrible and have a few funny lines to show your mates best tracks include: F.U.C.K I'm the least you could do Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Other Albums: BHG(1 star) One Fierce Beer Coster(3 stars) Hooray For Boobies(5 Stars) Hefty Fine(Four Stars) Not as good as thier previous album but still a great buy guaranteed laughs and memorable songs....
