Depeche Mode are adored by their fans for many reasons. For those who have been fortunate to have seen them perform live there is something else to be passionate about.
The band have played live all over the world for many, many years now and "101" is one of the biggest and best.
This album was recorded at the Pasadena Rose Bowl about 12 years ago and was number 101 in a long list of live dates in america to promote the Music For The Masses album.
The recording is almost perfect the songs are performed with energy and the crowd really are enjoying every second of every song.
There are many classic depeche mode songs here and if you're a DM fan who hasn't got this then you have no idea just how much you're missing out on.
One of the highlights of the album is the track "Somebody" which is performed amazingly well and really gets your spine tingling but from the very beginning of "Pimpf" to the last crowd renditions of "Everything Counts" this album is superb and if you love DM or live music in general you should give this a try.
