10 Things I hate About You is a great soundtrack, well worth getting if you enjoyed the film. I often find soundtracks great for showcasing artists that often don’t get any recognition or don’t bother releasing things here in the UK. This is definitely the case here. This CD introduced me to a few new artists, for example “Letters To Cleo” and “Sister Hazel.” The songs are quite varied and the although some of the songs aren’t especially good, most are and these easily make up for the not so good songs. Although this has most of the songs prominently featured in the film it hasn’t got them all, for example, One Week by the Barenaked Ladies which was played over the opening credits or Sexy Boy by Air. Overall though a decent CD that I would recommend to anyone who liked the film.
