1 - There is a great mix of music on this one disc, a bit of everything for everybody 2 - there is 2 amazing songs on this album by Letters to Cleo 3 - The songs fit perfectly well into the feel of the film 4 - Makes you wanna get up and dance/rock out 5 - Slow songs aswell as uptempo numbers 6 - Has a good 14 songs on it from the film 7 - Has Saturday Night by Ta-Gana on it, what more can i say 8 - Love the front cover of the album 9 - Can listen to it all the way through without skipping any tracks 10 - All in All a great buy and needs to be in everyone's CD collection!
Only downside is there is a few songs in the film that aren't on the CD but oh well i'm sure you'll get over that. The songs on the album are as follows:
1. I Want You To Want Me - LETTERS TO CLEO ~ this is a rocky, uptempo number which my sister loves, so i suppose the girlies can relate to the lyrics. 2. FNT - SEMISONIC ~ I don't remember this song in the film but it's another punky/guitar driven song which puts you in a good mood. 3. Your Winter - SISTER HAZEL ~ Kind of country song, with meaningful lyrics but can't be a bit screeching. 4. Even Angels Fall - JESSICA RIDDLE ~ I really love this song, its really uplifting and talks about being in a relationship. 5. I Know - SAVE FERRIS ~ Another great happy/dancey song 6. New World - LEROY ~ Not really into this song, but i suppose it's giving the listener a good variety of music. 7. Saturday Night - TA-GANA ~ Finally a bit of R'n'B, this is a really good slow jam when your getting ready to go out on the town. 8. The Weakness In Me - JOAN ARMATRADING ~ Quite a depressing song, you've got to be in the right mood to listen to that one. 9. Atomic Dog - GEORGE CLINTON ~ To me this song seems out of place, its a rather strange song, but makes me laugh everytime. 10. Dazz - BRICK ~ This is a funky little techno number, which you can get your groove on to. 11. War - CARDIGANS ~ Love the Cardigans, so they can never do wrong in my book. 12. Wings Of A Dove - MADNESS ~ This reminds me of the songs from Grease which is good, because that was also a teen romance back in the day. 13. Cruel To Be Kind - LETTERS TO CLEO ~ A great remake of cruel to be Kind with a rocky, modern feel to it. 14. One More Time - RICHARD GIBBS ~ just an all round nice piece of music, nothing to inspiring but a nice way to end the album.
The album uses a beautiful mix of artists rangig different genres like R'n'B/Rock/Punk/Indie/Soul so even if you don't like some of them there will definitely be a few on there that everyone likes.
