Advantages: armin, trance tracks, nice range of memories Disadvantages: doesnt do ASOT justic
...As a ture ASOT & arminvanbuuren fan of course this was on my purchase list. ASOT radio shows tend to be the main highlight of my weeks and i am a frequent listener seeing some of the top tunes of the year on the cd was pleasing however, i wouldn't go crazy to get my hands on this better off listening to armin weekly! the cd has definatly missed some of the best tracks from later on in 2007 but this is nicely packed with good tunes from the early days. It still deserves a place in any trance collection but if i had the choice of buying it again i'd rather save my money for actually seeing Armin live at godskitchen or crasher where his live sets are unbelievable and trance tune rammed!...

Advantages: Very good flow, some top tracks Disadvantages: Very vocal (Even for Armin)
...ArminVanBuuren is one of the worlds top DJ's, his previous albums (Shivers and Various A State Of Trance albums to mention a few) have been excellent, his weekly 'A State Of Trance' show has been added to my Ipod every Friday morning for the last few years, so when I heard about this album I was very excited to say the least.
The flow of the album is brilliant starting off with the title track Imagine and going into 'Going Wrong' which is going to be massive this summer, all the way through the the beautiful 'Intricacy' at the end.
It is a big shame that 'If You Should Go' IMO the best track he has produced since Shivers is not on the album. This is a suprise as Armin started playing the track around the same time he started promoting the album.
The only other detremental thing I would say about the album is that it is very...

Advantages: Some Top Tracks, Good Flow Disadvantages: A Few Weak Links
...As a massive Trance fan, VanBuuren specifically it is amazing that it took me so long to buy this album. I only purchased it a few months ago when I spotted it in HMV. £8 very well spent to say the least!
The album has a good flow to it, starting with the beautiful 'Wall of sound' featuring Justine Suissa through to the absolutely immense title track 'Shivers'. In my opinion the best track on the album is 'Bounce back' which is done in colaboration with the excellent 'Remy/Roland Klinkenberg' (who were recently responsible for the fantastic 'Mexico Can Wait' - one of the best trance tracks of 2007).
Unfortunately compared to Armins other work there are 1 or 2 tracks on this album that are not quite at his usual standard, 'Golddigger' is one that springs to mind.
In conclusion - I dont rate this as highly as the new 'Imagine...
