Boyzone, is honest from the start of his biographyLife is A Rollercoasterwhen he confesses: "I'm only 23, so this is not exactly what you'd call an autobiography! It's too soon to start writing my memoirs." But in all honesty, this is just whatLife is a Rollercoasteris, and while he is barely older than a lot of his fans, the Boyzone star has a lot of stories to tell about what has so far been a rather spectacular career. There are also some revealing incidents, such as Ro (as he is referred to by his friends) meeting up with his idols, fellow Irish rockers U2, coping with rumours about his sexuality and the Boyzone boys crafting aMission: Impossiblestyle escape plan to avoid paying an 80 pound phone bill in their early, less affluent days. It also covers some more recent developments in the Keating and Boyzone camps, including Stephen Gately's outing ("We all knew from the start that Stephen was gay") and Ronan's management career with another hot Irish property, Westlife. The real meat of the book comes from the recollections of Ronan's relationship with his mother, a relationship tragically cut short when she died of cancer just as the group was getting off the ground. His heartfelt memories are both touching and recounted with a restrained dignity; never does he pity himself or mourn too long for what he lost, rather he celebrates the time he spent with her. Ronan Keating started out his pop stardom with the boy band Boyzone ten years ago. Him and his fellow band members were scoffed at when they performed ... ...show hosted by Gay Byrne. He sarcastically commented 'come back when your famous'....they did and the rest as they say is history.
The album includes a booklet with a foreward of dedication to Ronan's family and friends and musical contacts. The Ronan goes on to describe the songs in his album. When he first heard/recoreded/wrote them. Also a page crediting the albums the racks were taken from.

Ronan Keating has become a household name; I’ll be very surprised if anyone hasn’t heard of him. We met Ronan, many years ago as part of the legendary group Boyzone. Along with Keith Duffy, now actor, Stephen Gately, who has not had a good time with the press, Mikey Graham and Shane Lynch, Ronan sung what at the time were power ballads and what we all now know to be soppy love songs, written by other people. ...and friends is called Ronan 10 years of hits and features all his top hits as well as 3 new versions from the Boyzone days which he has recorded solo. The album was a massive hit staying in the top ten of the album charts for 9 weeks. So what's on the album TRACK 1 - When You Say Nothing At All This was the soundtrack to Nottinghill and this is one of these songs where you hear his strong voice. TRACK 2 - Life Is A Rollercoaster
This was one of ... ...song. TRACK 10 - SHE BELIEVES (IN ME)
This Kenny Rogers Classic was performed brilliantly by Ronan and again it brought his distinctive voice out. TRACK 11 - LAST THING ON MY MIND
Another duet, this time with LeAnn Rimes, although I have said that I think Ronan should stick to Solo the the powerful voice of LeAnn alongside Ronan's pulled it off perfectly. TRACK 12 - FATHER AND SON

...songs so I love his 10 years of songs CD! The songs are mainly easy listening love songs / boy band type songs and I like them because they always have beautiful lyrics which tell a meaningful story or message. They also sound really personal like he has written them about his own feelings and he has even used his wife in the video for "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and wrote "There's Somebody Else Now" after the birth of his son.

These aren't my favourites on the CD but I'll still listen to them!
Track 11 - Last Thing On My Mind
Duet with Leann Rimes. A story about a girl leaving and saying sorry was the last thing on their minds. I also like Leann Rimes so it was a given that I would like this song!

Ronan Keating 10 years of hits came out in 2004. It includes all his famous solo hits like: Life is a rollercoaster, When you say nothing at all, If tomorrow never comes , Lovin each day , We've got tonight feat lulu and Last thing on my mind feat Leanne Rimes.
It also has some Boyzone tracks that he has re recorded on his own like: Words, Baby can I hold you and Father and son feat Yusuf (formally known as Cat Stevens).
This is a great cd especially ... ...of ballads and boppy music.
Most of the songs on the cd you will know so I can guarantee that you will end up singing along to them.
This cd is not just for women! I have managed to convert my 40 year old brother and my teenage nephews. Now they are big Ronan fans.
This cd costs between £9.99 and £12.99 depending where you buy it so it pays to shop around. But with 17 tracks on this cd it is well worth the price.
