I listened to this album again recently after owning it since it's release in 1999, and I can honestly say it's still as fresh as when I first heard it.
Sugar Ray released 'Lemonade & Brownies' in 1995 to not so great reviews. It was a much heavier sound & didn't get seen as a masterpiece by the music community in general, even though as an avid fan I loved this record. They then went on to release 'Floored' which made the band a household name ... ...Sugar Ray have combined all of their styles of music & placed it in a varied album which in one instance sounds like your listening to a metal then changes on a tangent to more light hearted, easy listening sound.

On 14:59 there are eleven tracks. Sugar Ray are really a rock band, but the songs almost border on pop. I t's very original music and funky too.
There are a couple of crap songs, but mostly I'd say it was a good album. ...

Advantages: Many different styles Disadvantages: Not easy to find
Sugar Ray isn’t very popular in England but “Every Morning” did very well in the UK charts. I bought the album after this single was released. When I first listened to the CD, I thought “Why have I bought this CD?” This is because the first track “New Direction”, is a instrumental track and completely different to the rest of the songs. The rest of the album pretty good. My favourite track is “Someday”, but “Falls Apart” follows very closely behind. ...
