Advantages: continuation of a great band
Disadvantages: doesnt quite capture the magic of 'Break The Cycle'

...I've heard people say that Staind havn't done themselves justice with this, the follow-up to 2001's 'Break The Cycle', a record of pure perfection and rock music at its best. Fact is, that they are probably right. '14 Shades Of Grey' is great in its own right, but when played straight after 'Break The Cycle' you just feel like something is missing. Other Staind releases Dysfunction (1999) Break The Cycle (2001) The emotive feel continues from the previous record, with two songs specifically written by Aaron Lewis. One, 'Zoe Jane', is for his recently born daughter and it really shows that he is a caring father and a great musician because its a fantastic ballad that any daughter would be proud to have sung about them.
