Disadvantages: Not many, some fillers but i suppose you get that with every album

A Girl Part 1 - Usher, Loon & P Diddy. Great chorus and catchy lyrics from usher, definately one for the ladies but a really popular tune. Unfoolish - Ashanti & Notorious BIG. Loads of radio play this one, mixing Biggies old tune, i think the video got more airplay than the original and another cult classic Dance With Me/Peaches And Cream - 112, Ludacris & Beanie Segal. Great mix with the two best tunes from the 112 album. Great r&b club tracks and more cult classics No More Drama - Mary J Blige. Compared to what has come before on this album, the Mary track falls just short. Its a mid tempo track which is just middle of the road So complete - Cherri Dennis. I can basically repeat the same as above, not really much going on Notorious - Lil Kim, Notorious BIG & P Diddy. Nowhere near the original in my opinion but my brother loves it ...

Urban Renewal (The songs of Phil Collins) - Various Artists

Advantages: Loads of Phil Collins songs
Disadvantages: Loads of Phil Collins songs messed up

. Add a few scratches and a rap and you have this Gotta Hold Over Me - Coko. Poor song. In my opinion Coko isnt the most gifted singer and you can tell on this track. Not one of Phils greatest and not one of Coko's either I Dont Care Anymore - Kelis. Produced by the Neptunes, this is a harsh track with an 'I Hate You So Much Right Now' shouty feel to it. You would either love or hate this Cant Turn Back The Years - Joe. Not to disimilar to the original and it works. The best track on the album, Joes voices gives this tune so much credit. It really does work. Quality Do You Remember - Debelah Morgan. Poor again, she has a good voice and it comes through but the production is not great and its a big let down Against All Odds - Montell Jordan. This is worse than the Westlife version. Its just not very good One More NIght ...

Chilled Beats Sessions 2CD

Advantages: Everything; up there with the best of them
Disadvantages: You have to change disc!

I bought this in 2006 for £5. This is one seriously chilled album, featuring many unheard of artists. It has 30 tracks in total. The design is simple, the packaging minimal. There is over 2 hours of tunes on here. I would compare this to Red Jerry's "Deep and Chilled Euphoria" from 2001. The tracks on here are more recent, one of them "Kota" by Bonobo being featured on an O2 advert some years ago. It has happy parts, sad parts and parts that allow you to reflect. "Shake It Loose" by Dolphin Boy takes your mind to another dimension. "Only Hush" by Nostalgia 77 sounds very underground and shady. But "Kota" must be one the top tracks, simple and non-mainstream. All in all a fabulous album! ...
