Advantages: Good catchy songs
Disadvantages: Becomes tedious

...This new album from the Kaisers is a pretty good start. New cutting and catchy songs, but does become tedious by the end of the album. A lot of influence seems to come from bands such as Franz Ferdinand and even early 1990's Jarvis Cocker from Pulp. It is quite an original sound, but does become annoying. The constant lyrics about the guy and wanting a girlfriend is more 'Busted' than '90's lyrics, but can be quite entertaining. For the price that the album is now, it is well worth getting, even if it is for only the couple of main songs that will stick in your head..... such as the na na na na naaa song. I can still hear it now. I an start a riot has to be trhe best track, as well as every day I love you less and less. ...choruses. I'm sure anybody who hasn't heard of it will recognise it anyway. It got alot of radio play and reached number 2 in the singles charts. The chorus goes like this...and it is one of the few songs I can play on guitar. PARTY SONG Rating 8/10 This is the fastest song on the album...its got to be almost impossible to sing, and is another one of their more "crazy" songs...good fun this one 10. MUTT Rating 6.5/10 This was originally recorded for American Pie i think, one of those typical tracks off the American Pie soundtrack. Its in my opinion the weakest track on the album. 11.
