Advantages: THE FUNIEST MUSIC EVER! Disadvantages: RUDE UNSUITABILITY
...Avenue Q is one of the most thought-through yet simple musicals. It's music and lyrics, although not to the taste of everyone, is side-splitting and thruely comical and is represented wonderfully in this broardway album. i was one of the first to see the show in the westend, following previews, after the show had come over from broadway and i was in fits of laughter and every moment and at the end a well deserved standing ovation was heard. After hearing the music in the show i knew that i had to have the album and i'm really glad i did! i can appreciate that some people would be offended by the nature and lyrics of the song, as it just about picks faults in everyone, but i believe that taken with a pinch of salt that this show and soundtrack are truely histerical and memorable!...

Advantages: Fantastic music humor and music creations Disadvantages: Misses out lots from the production but is still worth buying
...Once again monty python have delivered a true classic in the form of spamalot. The musical is amazing. You cant stop laughing the whole way through. The actors are fantastic and the music and lyrics are exceptionally well developed throughout the show.
The soundtrack is brilliant to listen to. It is exceptionally humorus and very witty and the music is brilliant to listen to. Songs such as THe song that go's like this are brilliant worked and have poet meaning within the lyrics. ALthough sparking humor it also has a lot of truth in it, when you get to down to the bare lyrics. Other classic python songs are brilliantly encorperated and new ones like you wont succeed on broadway if you dont have any jews are masterful. the whitty humor and skill of the the music and lyrics makes it a pleasure to listen to.

...emulated since. If you think of Woodstock but more choral that gives you an idea of the music style.
Now this Deluxe Edition comes with two two CDs the first one is the original Broadwaycast recording from 1968. Now this is great because it has has some really good singing on it, and Claude and Berger are played by the two writers Rado and Ragni. Now, on the second disc is the original Off-Broadwaycast from 1967. Now some of the singing and the quality of recording isn't quite as good, but there's an amazing energy on that recording. The original off broadway show was put on in a Night Club in New York and the cast actually comprised of "Hippys" rather than Actors. Thats what gives it the lovely unfinished but real feal too it.
The second disc also has some bonus tracks. Two alternative ending songs and an overture.
And if that wasn...
