Advantages: Some great tracks Disadvantages: Not consistently classic - but even the worst parts are quite good
...John Williams has written some truly great music for Spielberg films (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars, ET, Jurassic Park, Jaws...). Of all of these, I think that my favourite piece has to be the March from 1941. It is a shame that the rest of the score cannot live up to that one track.
The march theme is heard throughout the score, but the emphasis tends to move towards reinforcing the comedy element of the film (a film starring Dan Ackroyd and John Belushi can't take itself too seriously, can it?).
There is no doubt in my mind that any serious soundtrack collector should have a copy of this CD, but bear in mind that John WIlliams can, and frequently does, do better....

Steal Away
Again when I heard this song I liked it instantly. It was produced by the Neptunes (I don’t know who they are, but they produced a great track!) and they also appear on the song. It is a mid tempo track, with such a catchy chorus. It is another very strong feature on the album and would make a great single. The man who features on the single (Pharrel Williams, from the Neptunes) has a sweet high voice, which compliments Mary’s husky voice.

...How could anyone not like this album? It grooves along with hardly a bum note. The singles 'ex-factor' and 'doo wop that thing' are here which are both brilliant in their own ways. My personal favourite is one of the two hidden tracks - a re-working of Andy Williams' 'can't take my eyes off you'. It sounds strange but it is really well done. Hill's vocals are, as ever, perfect and there are some guest appearances from greats such as mary j blige, d'angelo and carlos santana. Buy this to chill on a summer's day....
