Advantages: Genuine, All Time Classic Disadvantages: More Songs needed
...Creedence Gold is a good introduction to the world of CreedenceClearwaterRevival. A band dominated by the Fogerty brothers, had huge success in the 70’s and is considered a landmark in 70’s music. This CD includes 8 of their biggest hits, such as Proud Mary Bad moon rising and the Midnight Special. It also includes two of the best covers ever, I heard it through the Grapevine and Suzie Q. Advantages: Classic American Rock Disadvantages: None to mention
...It's one of those songs that comes on the radio. You like it, but don't ever catch, or remember who sang it. That was Bad Moon Rising.
But, when you find the band - CreedenceClearwaterRevival (CCR for short) you find more classics. Proud Mary is another timeless classic song on this album. CCR's treatment of I heard it through the grapevine is fantastic with a wonderful long guitar solo in the middle. Down on the Corner, Lodi and Looking out my back door will all have you singing along before too long!
If you like guitar music that you can sing along to then this is for you. A quality compilation of the best bits for those who want to dip their toes into the clearwater pool....
