Advantages: It's Green Disadvantages: None come to mind
...I first came across the name Scritti Politti a.k.a. Green Garside" when one of his tracks that makes up this classic album was included on the first tape given away free with the N.M.E. called "Rough Trade C81", (which I still have) as you can probably gather it was a showcase for the acts that were signed to the Rough Trade record label at the time, the time being 1981.
Other acts that are on the tape are the likes of The Beat, Orange Juice, Josef K, and SubwaySect to name a few of the artists that appeared.
Side 1 of the tape started with what would turn out to be the last track on the album, yes the first track I heard was the "Dub" influenced song the "Sweetest Girl" this was enough of incentive for me to look for and buy the album when it became available, about 6 months would pass before "Songs to Remember" became available...

Advantages: Some reasonable songs Disadvantages: A predictable retread of the old formula
...When various Christian Fundamentalist sects in the US accused ELO of being devil-worshippers and inserting satanic 'secret messages' in their songs, Jeff Lynne was inspired to write, record and produce a double album sending the fools up. Advantages: long track listing, 13 CDs, bonus songs, nice box Disadvantages: not all original studio albums
...Let me just start by saying that I am a monstrously huge fan of Aerosmith, so it is going to be difficult to be unbiased. But I will do my best, I promise.
This boxed set is well presented in an impressive flame covered box, with a match as the handle. Inside the box, there sits 13 CD’s, 12 albums and 1 bonus disc. The albums that are included within are all Aerosmith’s early albums, from 1973 through to 1986. The bonus disc includes rarities and never before released songs. I will attempt to list all of the albums, with the original release dates:
1973 – Aerosmith
1974 – Get Your Wings
1975 – Toys In The Attic
1976 – Rocks
1977 – Draw The Line
1978 – Live! Bootleg
1979 – Night In The Ruts
1980 – Greatest Hits
1982 – Rock In A Hard Place
1986 – Classics Live...
