Take A Time Warp With Me Back To The 80's
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

As I was looking for my 1970's CD, I happened across this one, and had the choice of whether to buy the 70's or 80's one.
In the end up I bought both of them for good measure, at the same time.
This 80's however was bought for the skinflint sum of £2:38, also from Amazon.
So here we go again! Awaiting its arrival as well, and as with the 70`s one was gratefully welcome.
After all I could listen to the songs and transport myself back to my school days and pretend I was little again. (And that's a long journey!) He! He!

The Cover And Style Of The CD.
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
This CD`s style is much more appealing. It is an attractive light Blue, and the inner circle, which I presume like the 70`s one is supposed to represent a 7 inch vinyl record, and is Pink with a brighter Pink inner circle.
You can't mistake what your looking at, because it has a nice big White number 1`s printed inside the Pink circles with 1980s written in black, and the name ( number )to the left hand side of the Pink circles is written in White.
It clearly states some of the artists included on the CD in White lettering too.
Some of those mentioned are, Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Simple Minds, Roxy Music, Culture Club and Blondie!
The actual CD inside is predominately White with the number 1`s a dashing bold blue.
The rear of the CD is also that funny shade of Blue but it has a redeeming feature of the titles being highlighted in a nice bright pink, with all tracks number and artists included.
The artists and tracks written on the pink background are in a nice White so you can't mistake the separation of the two.
The sleeve you usually rely on to give you information on the bands featured again is sadly lacking.
It only gives the tracks and the artist featured but no other information or pictures.
On the flip side it does make an attractive poster, equal to the printed outer cover.
I suppose you get what you pay for!

When Was Released Then? And Who By?
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
This CD was released in 2003 by EMI, as was the previous CD.
It does warn that all the material is copy write, and most not be copied or pirated!
We wouldn't do this however would we?
The CD is compatible with audio players, DVD players, and all windows players, including Apple Mac systems.

How Many Tracks? And Where They Any Good?
````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
There are Seventeen tracks on this CD, and that is not too bad for the price you pay for it.
I liked all Seventeen of them, which is very unusual for me, because when I buy new music CD`s there is always one I don`t like.
So this one did not disappoint.
Now For The Tracks On The CD!
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
No 1. Duran Duran: - Is There Something I Should Know?
This song is a good up-tempo number and is a classic Duran sound. 4:10
No 2. Midge Ure: - If I Was!
This track is a throwback from Ultravox, and is very much in keeping with the sound of the 80`s. 4:45
No 3. Kraftwerk: - The Model!
This is a great synthesizer number by Kraftwerk, and is in keeping with their own unique sound that filled the 80`s. 3:41
No 4. Spandau Ballet: - True!
Sung By Tony Hadley.
A nice Ballad by Tony and is still a firm favourite today at weddings. 5:38
No 5. Marc Almond & Gene Pitney: - Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart!
First Released In 1989 By EMI Records Ltd.
This track has been cover so many times, and is a good tune to get you thinking, it's also a timeless classic. 6:41
No 7. Roxy Music: - Jealous Guy!
Taking the tempo down a beat, you have the dulcet tones of Bryan giving us a fantastic Ballad. It is also the longest track on the CD. 4:53
No 8. Culture Club: - Karma Chameleon!
No 10. Dexy`s Midnight Runners: - Geno!
And will get you dancing and singing along. 3:29
A great kind of pop/rap tune here from the girls. 3:23
No 12. Paul Hardcastle: - Nineteen!
First Released In 1985 By Chrysalis Records Ltd.
Sung By Paul Hardcastle.
This song was an 80`s kind of rap, about the Vietnam war, and all the radio stations tried to ban it, Of course all record sales went through the roof after that. It has lived on and became on of the best selling records of the 80`s. 3:33
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
Actually yes I would! It would make a great Christmas gift for any of your loved ones, if not for yourself!
It's only a scrooge price of £2:38, so what have you got to lose?
