...Bon Jovi are a five piece rock band hailing from New Jersey. Their original line up consisted of Jon Bongiovi (Vocals and Guitar), Richie Sambora (Lead Guitar), Tico Torres (Drums), David Bryan (Keyboards) and Alec John Such (Bass). Such left the band in 1994 and was replaced by Hugh Macdonald. Often hailed as one of the greatest rock bands of the 1980's (and not just by me before you ask!), Bon Jovi have something for everyone. ...This a double CD of all The Stranglers singles and selected other tracks from their albums. the very first album released by the stranglers was 'Rattus Norvegicus' in April 1977. This was one the years most eagerly awaited albums. From this album 'Get a grip (on yourself)', 'Peaches' and 'Go Buddy Go' were released. The follow to this album was 'No More Heroes'. Half of the songs on the album had been recorded at the same time as 'Rattus Norvegicus'. it introduced the synthesiser into the music of the Stranglers, and drummer Dave Greenfield even taking lead vocals in a couple of the songs. 1978 saw the release of 'Black and White'.
