Advantages: Punk roots still hold their own. Disadvantages: Lacks any kind of originality or self-worth.
...be allowed to get, as a brotherly tribute to the band's closest friends and community spirit. But still shouted and bitter, obviously.
RogerMiret's hardcore yell is enough to put me off ever listening to this band again, threatening to mellow out as late as the eleventh song, but still not quite getting there. I've never been a fan of this confrontational vocal style (makes you wonder why I listen to this genre at all really), and although the rest of the instruments are a little better than the average for punk, it's all but expected for such a relatively high profile band. There's plenty of swearing and aggro, balanced out by occasional positive feelings to prove that the band is still human, though to be honest the self-explanatory 'Forgive Me Mother' is a little cringe-worthy in its sentiment, and it's hard to take Miret completely seriously...

Advantages: 10 great songs that showcase the talents of Queen to the full Disadvantages: 2 songs about Freddie's cats
...We weren't to know it until months after it's release, but Innuendo was Queen's final album before Freddie Mercury's untimely death in November 1991. It's an album which is possibly the best work the band put together since 1984's The Works.
Innuendo the opening track gave the band their 2nd Number One single in the UK chart (following 1975's Bohemian Rhapsody) and is almost as masterly as Bo-Rhap. The song has a very flamenco feel to it in parts and is quite unique.
I'm Going Slightly Mad, with hindsight seems to be a Freddie penned track about the illness which was to lead to his death. A humorous take on coping with enforced changes.
Headlong is just what Queen do best. Rock! It's unfortunate that this song could never been performed in a stadium, because it would have surely become a live classic in years to come.

Advantages: A great rock album from Queen's drummer Disadvantages: A few weak songs
...An amazing debut solo album written and performed entirely by Roger Taylor, the drummer of world famous rock band Queen. A great start with No Violins, a classic rock song followed by the 1970s single Future management and Good Times are Now. My Country I & II is my favourite track on the album and is great to listen to after a bad day at work! Although there are one or two weak tracks, like Fun In Space, the album is consistent and very enjoyable to listen to.
After listening to all four of Roger Taylor's albums, I think this one has to be the best. A completely different to sound to most of Queen's music, this album is refreshing to listen to and Roger's vocals are great!
I would definately recommend this album to any Queen or Roger Taylor fans, or anyone interested in trying some of his solo work....
