...really makes me think hard about everything. It's just the speed , lyrics and the way the part of this part of the song is wondefully sang , just really makes me wonder....
This song last for 4 minutes and 15 seconds .... The song was actualy released in the year 1980 and it's still my all time Whitesnake favourite!!!!
Overall , i would rate this song 9/10. It has great lyrics , great background music , and it is sang perfectly well. This is a song that you should definitly listen to , because this song is so very unique. With the very quiet start becoming gradually louder , and then bursting into that hard rock genre and the overpowering voice of David Coverdale and the instrumental by the rest of Whitesnake really makes this such a fantastic listen!!
2. Don't Break My Heart Again
This song is another fantastic one...

Advantages: A great varied mixture of live tracks Disadvantages: Not all the favourites are included
.... This dramatic difference in style should be taken into account before purchasing; whether you happen to be a die hard 'late-80s-whitesnake fan' or, at the other end of the spectrum, a fan of earlier classic rock bands such as Bachman Turner Overdrive, Thin Lizzy, and Free (all three of these great bands offer decent comparisons in sound and style to 'Live in the Heart of the City'.
Sadly three tracks were cut from the original vinyl version of this double 'LP', the second version of Come On', Troubled, and Mistreated. Having said that, with great hits such as Fool For Your Loving, Ready An' Willing, and the (almost) title track of: Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City, I can't see anyone complaining about the loss of a couple of lesser B-Side tracks. All in all this is a well rounded live album, with some really great rock and roll. The cover...

Advantages: Good time rock'n'roll with a large drop of blues added for good measure Disadvantages: Very samey with lyrics that are sometimes hideous
...Whitesnake, for those not in the know, are a rock band formed in the seventies from the splintered remains of Deep Purple. Ritchie Blackmore had already departed the sinking ship and had formed 'Rainbow', Ian Gillan, who had quit many moons before the band croaked, had begun 'Gillan' (sometimes it makes you wonder where they get the names for these bands from!) and so David Coverdale, libido in hand, packed his bags and set up camp under the banner of Whitesnake. And yes, the name does refer to his….shall we say, manhood?
The 'Purps', following their long, protracted illness eventually succumbed to the inevitable and gave up on their will to live and gave birth to the band, or frontman to be more precise, that would in turn launch the much-lauded 'cock rock'; a phrase relating to the amount of sexual innuendo and suggestive come...
