Advantages: As Pure As Driven Snow. Disadvantages: Watch Out For The Pebbles Inside.
...For many the Boo Radleys will always be remembered for their throwaway hit 'Wake up Boo'. This song does not even come close to defining what an important band they were. Its success proved to be a double edged sword. Those looking for more of the same were disappointed, while those looking for something a bit more tangible would have been put off. Martin Carr, much admired drinker and now steering the Brave Captain ship was able to conjure melodies at will and provided the ammunition for Sice's magnetic choirboy vocals.

Advantages: Some cracking underrated songs... Disadvantages: Some boring tracks
...'Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants' put Oasis in a different limelight to the public, this album put Oasis under pressure as it got slated by the critics for being a 'dire' album. However, the album itself is a big improvement from Oasis' previous album before this 'Be Here Now' which was far too long as an album, some songs dragged out too much. Some of Oasis' influences in Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants was easy to see especially in 'Who Feels Love?' where the influence of George Harrison enters, and as Liam was a big Beatle fan that is no surprise. The album also includes their comeback single 'Go Let...

Advantages: You can see the concert on DVD Disadvantages: You get a lot of audience shots and documentary

John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, The Who, The Kinks, Pink Floyd, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin… the list goes on. What we didn’t know then is how spoilt we were. We thought that this standard of song writing and musical innovation was quite normal.
Time has marched...
