Advantages: Lots of bangers Disadvantages: Nothing specific
?No Doubt? came as the 1996 debut from the Las Vegas trio 702, it saw Orish Grinstead, Kameelah Williams and Irish Grinstead team up for the first time as they broke through with their hit Missy Elliot-assisted ?Steelo?, which was their first before they returned three years later with ?Where My Girls At?? as the R&B three moved on with the time.
1. ?Get Down Like Dat?
They start off the album with a short snippet which was sampled the year later on Destiny?sChild debut single, ?No, No No? (Part 2), from this they break into a funky jam which has them showing their clear Hip Hop influence with something which has a laid-back West Coast groove to it, and it is bound to get you swaying with it as a result.
**Five Stars**
2. ?Steelo?
They move right into their lead single, it is a banger of a joint from them and takes you right in ...

------------ Who Is Beyonce Knowles? ------------
In 1997 a little groups called Destiny?sChild made their recording debut with the single ?Killing Time? Which was featured on the soundtrack to Men In Black, the smash hit science fiction flick starring Will Smith. They brought an album out in early 1998 named simply ?Destiny?sChild? One single from that album was ?No, No, No? a complete smash hit, selling well over 1 million copies. After two, rather flat singles, which didn?t reach the same success as ?No, No, No? the band decided to get into the studio again and record the album ?Writing On The Wall.? ?Bills, Bills, Bill? was the first single from that album, it did massively well, reaching number one everywhere. This was just the start of their success. They continued to dominate R n B, with massive hits, such as ?Say My Name ...

Album Notes
Destiny's Child were the biggest female R&B group of the late 1990s and early 2000s, with a superstar status rivaled only by TLC. Despite the media circus surrounding the strife between the three core members of the group, Destiny's Child managed to rack up an astonishing string of #1 hits, all of which are collected on the appropriately named #1'S. Early smashes like the smooth, rhythmically stuttering "Bills, Bills, Bills," the moody mid-tempo slow jam "Say My Name," and "Independent Women Part 1" (the theme to the film CHARLIE'S ANGELS) are here, of course, as are later hits like their cover of the Gibb brothers' "Emotion" and the sweeping inspirational ballad "Stand Up for Love," the anthem for World Children's Day 2005. With their seductive delivery, elaborate vocal embellishments, and call-and-response dynamics, Destiny's Child cast the mold for urban contemporary R&B at the turn of the century, topping it off with a slick production informed by hip-hop. An overview that shows the group doing what they do best, #1'S is a testament to their reigning influence and superstar status.
