After the success of Dre Dre's first album "The Chronic", he's back but this time he’s better then ever. With some great songs such as "Still D.R.E", "What's the Difference", "Forgot about Dre" and his latest smash hit "The Next Episode" included on this brilliant album. I purchased this album when it first was released around a year ago and still listen to it this very day! Most of Death Row's stars are included in this album such as Snoop Dogg, Xzibit, Hittman and Mel-Man alongside today’s Hip-Hop stars: Eminem, KoKane, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Mary J. Blige and more.
Here is a run through of all the tracks on the album and my personal ratings for each track...

1 - LOLO (INTRO) - Rating N/A
Featuring: Xzibit & Tray-Dee
A good intro to the album. Performed by Xzibit & Tray-Dee, I'm not quite sure what’s going on in this....

2 - THE WATCHER - Rating 8/10
A great start to 2001. This song has a very catchy tune along with brilliant & also catchy lyrics. The chorus is also very good, it fits into the song perfectly and livens up the song to make it better but not too much better. It deserves the 8/10.

3 - F*CK YOU - Rating 9/10
Featuring: Devin a/k/a The Dude & Snoop Dogg
Another brilliant song to start off the album. I'm sure some of you have heard this, Dr. Dre's version or Eminen's Remix version, It is truly a class song. With brilliant lyrics and an excellent background tune, this song should be a hit. Check this out!

4 - STILL D.R.E. - Rating 10/10
Featuring: Snoop Dogg
JUST BRILLIANT!! This song is one of Dre's most famous songs to be released. It was a hit! The famous very catchy background tune and the superbly performed lyrics, took this song to the top! This track is one of my all time favourites. The video to this track is also included on the album but only on the "Special Edition" version.

5 - BIG EGO'S - Rating 8/10
Featuring: Hittman
A great song but could be improved. It has a very catchy hook along with superb lyric’s, this song has one of the best lyrics on the album. If the tune and chorus were improved this song with get top marks! Also after the song is little extra skit answer machine bit which is quite funny.

6 - XXPLOSIVE - Rating 7/10
Featuring: Hittman, Kurupt, Nate Dogg & Six-Two
A pretty good track. Can be heavily improved and made longer to get higher marks. Some superb lyric’s, could be made better. But anyway its not bad, just not as good as some other tracks on the album such as What's about to follow....

7 - WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE - Rating 10/10+
Featuring: Eminem & Xzibit
Have you heard this yet? Well if you haven't then were have you been LIVIN for the past years!! This song is in my view is the 2nd best song on 2001 just behind Forgot About Dre. This song has breathtaking lyrics, a superb & catchy background tune and a brilliant chorus. What more can you ask for in a Hip Hop song? This song not only gets the 10/10 mark, it gets a 10/10+ mark and deserves it fully. "Whats The Difference" will live on as a classic forever and ever!

8 - BAR ONE - Rating N/A
Featuring: Traci Nelson, Ms. Roq & Eddie Griffin
Dre walks up to two women and plays them some Chronic tunes. A great lead up to the next song...

9 - LIGHT SPEED - Rating 7/10
Featuring: Hittman
"Light Speed" could be improved to be faster and have a better tune. The lyrics are OK but still could be improved to make the song more enjoyable and basically better all round. Song is still above average though and deserves the 7/10.

10 - FORGOT ABOUT DRE - Rating 10/10++
Featuring: Eminem
Two words "THE BEST". This song is easily in my view not only Dre's best ever song but also the best Hip-Hop song ever to be released. The chorus is just plain UNBELIVABLE, the lyrics are just BRILLIANT and the very catchy tune is just EXCELENT. Superbly rapped lyrics by Dr Dre and Eminem make the song what it is along with the so famous chorus that I will never forget! "Forgot About Dre" is my all time favourite song ahead of "What's The Difference". The song doesn't deserve the 10/10, it doesn't deserve the 10/10+, it truly deserves the 10/10++ and that’s all I gotta say about that!

11 - THE NEXT EPISODE - Rating 10/10
Featuring: Snoop Dogg
Hold Up ---- Dre's current Smash Hit! Brilliantly rapped out lyrics along with extremely catchy lyrics. I'm sure all of you have heard this record and all of you Hip Hop fans love it. This smash hit gets the 10/10 with ease.

12 - LET'S GET HIGH - Rating 9/10
Featuring: Hittman, Kurupt & Ms Roq
The lyrics are superbly rapped in this song. A very catchy tune to go along with it as well. It's good but not as good as other songs on the album and could be improved.

13 - B**** N***** - Rating 8/10
Featuring: Snoop Dogg, Hittman & Six-Two
Quite a good song, has a great background beat, it's not the usual fast and catchy beat, it's slow but still good & effective and suits the great lyrics that go along with it the song.

14 - THE CAR BOMB - Rating N/A
Featuring: Mel-Man & Charis Henry
You think this would be a song but it's only a good build up to the next track "Murder Ink"....

15 - MURDER INK - Rating 7/10
Featuring: Hittman & Ms. Roq
Another very good slow song and picks up from the pervious track brilliantly, you would think their just once track together. Some brilliant lyrics performed by Hittman and Ms. Roq that very well suite the beat. Could be better though if the beat was faster and the song was longer then only 2:28mins.

16 - ED-UCATION - Rating N/A
Featuring: Eddie Griffin
A interlude performed by Eddie Griffin only. He just talks and complains about Ho's and B*tches.

17 - SOME L.A. N***** - Rating 7/10
Featuring: DeFari, Xzibit, Knoc-Turn'al, Time Bomb, King T, MC Ren & KoKane
This is an OK song that could also be improved to make it get top marks in my view. Again could be made faster and the beat could be made better to catch more peoples attention but its still way above average by quite a bit.

18 - PAUSE 4 PORNO - Rating N/A
Featuring: Jake Speed
Hehehe, What a sick Joke for an interlude! Hehehe.

19 - HOUSEWIFE - Rating 7/10
Featuring: Kurupt & Hittman
Some brilliantly rapped lyrics in this. Same about the slow beat though, that could be improved. Has a little skit at the end of the song as well, which is quite pointless.

20 - ACKRITE - Rating 7/10
Featuring: Hittman
Not much of a song, the beat just repeats its self until it gets to the chorus. The beat is quite poor and slow. I would stick to songs such as What's The Difference & Still D.R.E.

21 - BANG BANG - Rating 8/10
Featuring: Knoc-turn'al & Hittman
Another good song. It has some really catchy lyrics especially the chorus. The beat goes really well with some lyrics in the song which make’s it deserve the 8/10 mark.

22 - THE MESSAGE - Rating 9.5/10
Featuring: Mary J. Blige & Rell
A message to his brother... R.I.P. As you will expect as this features Mary J. Blige it isn't the fast & catchy songs, it's a slow paced song, which is fantastic! A great chorus along with a slow background beat, this song is a great. I couldn't decide between the 9/10 or 10/10 marks what to give this great song so I gave it a 9.5 ;-) and it truly deserves it.

Well there it is! All those songs got an 7/10 and up in my view which shows this is a truly excellent and stunning album from Dr. Dre. But if you take these type of things and the lyrics used too seriously then defiantly DO NOT buy or listen to Dr Dre - 2001 but if you don't mind the lyrics and comments and liked Dr. Dre's first album "The Chronic", then this is the album for you and I strongly suggest you go and buy this now. This album is like a year old and is still No.1 in my CD Rack ahead of albums from the likes of: Eminem, Snoop Dogg, 2 Pac, Missy Elliot, D12 and others. This album will live on for years still to come being one of the best Gangster Hip-Hop albums around until Dr Dre himself will ace his albums of 2001 and Chronic when he hopefully releases a third great album. So we can only wait until then for the Next Episode....
