Advantages: Cool jazz funk fusion Disadvantages: None
...This is an interesting CD, as it combines elements of world music including Caribbean rhythms and instruments, with some mighty pleasing cool jazz. The first tune on the CD, Morning Dance, really sets the tone for the entire CD. Morning Dance begins with some steel drums, and them coolly and calmly neatly slides into some cool jazz.
The next track, Jubilee starts with some meaty jazz fusion guitar and then gets on down with some mean sounding horns. Sort of lounge music, if you happen to have a lounge filled with some of the hippest groovsters around. If you see what I mean. I doubt if it's possible not to dance to this track.

...IS CLIFF DESTINED TO BECOME ANOTHER TINA TURNER... IF YOU KNOW JUST WHAT I MEAN.
WILL WE ALL HAVE TO WATCH HIM STRUTTING HIS FUNKY STUFF ON STAGE WHEN HE'S NEARLY SEVENTY?
ITS NOT THAT I THINK THAT HE CANT SING... ITS MORE LIKE FORTY YEARS OF CLIFF IS ENOUGH..
WHY DOESNT HE GIVE SOMEONE ELSE A SHOT... OR WILL WE BE LISTENING TO CLIFF'S CHRISTMAS HIT IN 2020?... I WONER?
CLIFF AS EVERYONE KNOWS HAS HAD SOME EXCELLENT HITS.... HUNDREDS BY ALL ACCOUNTS.... BUT SURELY HES MADE ENOUGH NOW.... WHY DIOESNT HE DEVOTE HIS TIME TO CHARITY...AFTER ALL THIS IS SOMTHING THAT HES EXCELLENT AT?...

It has of course been rumoured that the band is a side project of Green Day and that three of the members of The Network are Billie Joe Armstrong (Green Day vocals and guitar), Mike Dirnt (Green Day bass and vocals) and Tre Cool (Green Day drums and vocals). However, as The Network wear masks to cover their faces and the 'rumour' has been strongly denied by both bands, we can't be entirely sure just yet.
If you are buying this album because you are a Green Day fan you may find yourself disappointed. Money Money 2020 is a far cry from the pop-punk rock style of Green Day, instead The Network explore a more new-wave style. Despite this I'll admit the similarities between the two bands can be found. For example the album had...
