Advantages: Battery life, size and weight Disadvantages: None so far!
I have just purchased a Samsung NC20 from Amazon. I originally planned on getting the NC10 after reading lots of fantastic reviews, but I was apprehensive about the size, being approx 10" screen. Anyway I heard about the NC20, and after seeing a HP notebook of the same size, I decided to wait for that instead...
Amazon have had the white version in stock for a few weeks, but the Black one only came in this week. Customer service was excellent, I ordered on Wed evening, but due to a problem with my card, the order only went through at 6.30pm on Thursday...it was then delivered at 8.30am on Friday!!! That's what I call express service! The cost was about Ł375, so it's not the cheapest on the market, but the reviews of the NC10 swayed me in spending a little extra.

Advantages: Some great features are the optical image stabilization and Intelligent Auto (iA) technology. Disadvantages: Microphone is not in a very good place.
The Panasonic HDC-SD20
This is a great compact high definition camcorder for the price. The small design allows for easy travel, it can fit in your purse, a large pocket and doesn't take up much room in your luggage when going on vacation. Very light weight only 270g, made of plastic, in my opinion it looks a little cheep.
However here are some great details: Full HD 1080 resolution (1920 x 1080) Has a HDMI input that allows you to connect to your HDTV so you can view your footage. You can also use the USB cable to transfer your video to your computer. This model has a 16X ( optical) zoom lens and a 40x - 1000x (digital zoom) along with Optical (lens based) Image Stabilization, great for filming objects from a distance.

connection at the moment, so I'm afraid I cannot comment on that, (although, it is only 20" and a 720p TV), but from our standard Sky input, the video is very crisp. We get excellent ranges of colours, as I said before, very punchy, vivid if you will. Furthermore, the brightness is great, and unlike on other LCD televisions, the brightness is perfectly distributed around the television, it isn't bright in patches, and not others, which is great.
The contrast as well is noticeably well handles; you get very clear definition between objects in a program. I have to say that what I notice in particular are, programmes from the BBC, which always seem to be in a superior quality, I'm not sure why, but it really is. Of course, this TV is HD ready, meaning that it will display HD wonders for you if you so wish.
