...Iron Maiden performed at Monsters of Rock in August 1992 as part of their Fear Of The Dark tour. They performed in front of almost 70,000 for this live recorded album.
This is a personal favourite of mine and one of the most played albums of my collection. It features 20 classic Maiden songs across 2 discs and really brings the atmosphere of the event into your room.
It features the timeless classics of Fear Of The Dark, The Number of the Beast, Wrathchild, Can I Play With Madness, The Evil That Men Do, Run To The Hills, 2 Minutes To Midnight, Iron Maiden, The Trooper and Hallowed Be Thy Name that everyone knows and loves and still gets a strong audience reaction whenever played.

The first album was a “grower” – you like it, but perhaps not immediately. There’s a little less raw emotion here, and the music’s a bit more laid back, making this album more likely to have a slightly wider audience. The lyrics seem to have been a little better thought out as well, so ensuring a new way of saying the same things. I’m a bit...
