...by Jon Vickers Vickers' unique voice seems to deliver a new dynamic to this Wagner Aria. It carries with it an uncertain, uneasy tone that heightens the listener's senses. A very new listening experience for me. Track 15: Una furtiva lagrima Sung by Luciano Pavarotti He freezes all who listen and then lifts them up to the heavens!!!! Well for about 4 minutes he does anyway! OUTSTANDING!!! Track 16: Se quel guerrier Sung by Plácido Domingo Domingo allows his technique to adjust for this demanding aria best listened to while hiding behind the couch or in another room. Track 17: Ecco, ridente in cielo sung by Luigi Alva and Renato Cesari Wonderful dynamics. The listener's ears are going to be awash with a varying contrast of timbre and diversity. ...This is one of the most recent collections from Ludovico Einaudi, and just as his previous albums, it is very crisp, pretty, relaxing music that takes the mind to peaceful places. For anyone unfamiliar with this artist he is an Italian pianist composer, who would fall into the category of modern classical, possibly minimalist. "In general I don't like definitions, but 'Minimalist' is a term that means elegance and openness, so I would prefer to be called a Minimalist than something else." -Ludovico Einaudi. He has written several film scores, including Doctor Zhivago (2002), and some Italian films, he has also released several solo albums (including some duets). Advantages: Shos growth in her voice, experimenting with different sounds.
Disadvantages: Maybe a little to slow for other Jlo fans.

...I recently purchased this album after buying tickets to see her and Marc Anthony in Concert in Miami. I have all of her old albums and felt the need to listen to her spanish material. 1) Que Hiciste - The most upbeat track of the album is a great start to this story of 'How a woman loves/ Como Ama Una Mujer'. It has a sort of pop rock feel to it with a catchy chorus and slow mid-tempo verses. 2) Me Haces Faltas - Her second single and a great choice. Great lyrics and this song shows off the emotional side to her voice. She really tries to go for the high notes and she succeeds. 3) Como Ama Una Mujer - A chilled track which you can listen to in the evening whilst contemplating life.
