20th Century Beast - Malignant Eternal

Advantages: Epic songs, stunning solo performances, amazing finale
Disadvantages: Only 8 songs long

...When I logged into Ciao I looked into the Zep folder to see what people thought of some of my favourite albums. It surprised me a lot that there were no reviews on this album, the album which is rated their best. So to do my bit for consumers who are not sure about Zep here is my review. Led Zeppelin are the worlds greatest ever rock band. This is not a controversial statement. They broke new ground with their blend of blues and rock and spawned million inferior imitators and, more significantly, paved the way for heavy metal. This is where people are mislead. The public perception of the band to the uninitiated is of a boozy, egotistical, heavy metal band. While the egotistical part is true, they created some of the finest music of the 20th century. Advantages: New Sound
Disadvantages: Not enough

...I must confess to not being a fan of the music my son enjoys, but this album is truly magnificent. The sampling of early 20th century blues combined with 21st century dance rhythms shows that this guy is a real genius. "Natural Blues" is easily my favourite song at the moment, but I can't think of any track on the album where I need to find the skip button, not something I can say for many albums I purchase! Moby told Jools Holland that the tracks were recorded in a bedroom in his New York apartment - I just wish more artists would spend time at home if this is the standard of work that they would produce....
