Outstanding
Review of Play - Moby by glwgardner

Advantages: New Sound
Disadvantages: Not enough

...I must confess to not being a fan of the music my son enjoys, but this album is truly magnificent. The sampling of early 20th century blues combined with 21st century dance rhythms shows that this guy is a real genius. "Natural Blues" is easily my favourite song at the moment, but I can't think of any track on the album where I need to find the skip button, not something I can say for many albums I purchase! Moby told Jools Holland that the tracks were recorded in a bedroom in his New York apartment - I just wish more artists would spend time at home if this is the standard of work that they would produce.... Slow, smooth Baroque
Review of Albinoni's Adagios by MAFARRIMOND

Advantages: Relaxing, serene, dreamy
Disadvantages: The first track is not actual Albinoni

.... Albinoni was to die in 1751, in his beloved Venice. The Music The CD contains 23 of Albinoni’s slower movements taken from his concertos and sonatas. Many are adagios, others are andante (walking pace), Larghetto (quite slowly). All though are slow in tempo. The overall effect is that of a slow serenity. The first track on the CD is the popular Adagio for Organ and Strings in G minor. This piece, however, had little to do with the compositions of Albinoni. It was constructed from a fragment by the 20th century musicologist Remo Giazotto who holds the copyright. Here, it is played a little faster than a lot of the other versions available. Each individual instruments is heard clearly and brightly. It is an absolutely delightful rendition of a favourite piece of music albeit not Albinoni’s own and provides an appropriate introduction... Review of Euphoria (Limited Edition) - Def Leppard by BennyRialto

Advantages: Goodbye: A great timeless ballad
Disadvantages: Some of the titles are truly weak

...Yes, Def Leppard are still alive and well and in fact this is their latest LP, released in 1999 with some of the band touching fourty. After the experimental vibe of '95 album 'Slang, 'Euphoria' saw the Leps return to their stadium-charged, rock roots and in places is a strong album - ballad 'Goodbye' is an instant Leppard classic, and 'Paper Sun' and 'Demolition Man' showcase some of the Sheffield band's finest lead guitar work ever, ably assisted on the latter by Damon Hill. It's not a great album - titles like '20th Century Sha La La Girl' suggest a small air of desparation - but at least they aren't going down withou a fight. More on the way guys?... Read review
