Advantages: Combines old and newer hits Disadvantages: oddly put together
...I was lucky enough a few years ago to catch a performance by a legendary Motown star while I was on holiday at Butlins, you may not think performing at Butlins is the sign of such legend but with Motown being an almost dead form of music nowadays and the artist being old enough to collect his pension it was great to see him still able to perform well and keep the crowd entertained, the man I'm talking about is EdwinStarr. Unfortunately Starr has since passed away so I count myself lucky to have been able to see the great man for myself but I can at least still listen to him via CD and other media.
EdwinStarr The Essential Collection is just that, a collection of his biggest hits from his early Motown days to his later Disco/Funk efforts. While I appreciate the sounds of Motown it was one Disco track in particular that drew my...

...This a double filled with 43 of the best disco tracks from the 70's and 80's. It's by far the best disco album that I've seen around - and was on sale when I bought it (which makes it even better). There are only about five or six tracks on the whole album that I don't really like that much.
It includes classics such as: 'Boogie Nights' - Heatwave, 'I Will Survive' - Gloria Gaynor, 'Can You Feel The Force' - Real Thing, 'Instant Replay' - Dan Hartman, 'Contact' - EdwinStarr and 'Boogie Wonderland' - Earth, Wind and Fire
An essential album for all disco lovers...

Advantages: Positive feelings of the roots reggae music! Disadvantages: None
...Brilliant. Absolute genious. I would say it is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. Every song is fresh and a pleasure to listen to, the political and releigious undertones and lyrics of the songs are heartwarming and pridefilling, and the sheer geneous of the instrumental playing and the structure of the songs is top class. In comparisson to other of Bob Marley & The Wailers albums, this IS the BEST.
Without doubt, one of the most important albums of the 20thcentury - forget Nevermind, OK Computer, Appetite for Destruction or Revolver, Exodus is the ultimate audio experience from the greatest and most prolific songwriter of the last fifty years. This album is packed with the sweetest melodies you are ever likely to hear, thought provoking lyrics, and masterful guitar playing.
Really great positive vibrations of Bobby's reggae supa...
