Advantages: Brilliant mowtown tunes from the Jackson 5 Disadvantages: No lyrics in the album cover
...This album holds all the greatest songs by the Jackson 5's which is made by The UltimateCollections group that have differnt albums made for the Commodores, The Four Tops and other great hit groups.
All the songs on this album are a hit with brilliant clarity that is like hearing them play live in your living room.
The album booklet has a biography about the Jackson 5 written by David Ritz. (Author of Divided Soul: The Life of Marvin Gaye - and many other biographies)
The only thing which I think is lacking is the lyrics for the songs which are not here. The album booklet also has some lovely black and white pictures of the whole group.
This musically talented family were such a joy to listen to all those years ago, and still to this day. They are amazing and this album does justice to all their great songs.
There are 21 songs...

Worthy of a listen, Review ofPhotograph (The Very Best Of Ringo) - Ringo Starrby
ScottishWestie
Advantages: Some good hits such as Photograph, Back off Boogaloo, It don't come easy Disadvantages: Half the album sounds like 'B' sides
...When the Beatles split up in 1970 each member of the band went their own separate ways in the recoding studio & produced new material. Released in August 2007, this is a compilation of Ringo's hits & although this is not n earth shattering album of material, it's still worthy of a listen. His most famous hits are all included & feature many famous names such as George Harrison, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, BuckOwen, Eric Clapton, Madeline Bell, Peter Frampton, Elton John, Billy Preston & Harry Neilson playing or singing on some of them.
It starts off with 'Photograph', a big hit in the UK for Ringo in 1973 & the title...

Advantages: Strong quality pop with a harder edge Disadvantages: Not enough variety on lead vocals, mainly by member Bobby G
...If you are familiar with Bucks Fizz already you will know that they can rock it if they wish to, without sounding false or fake. This album had a harder edge to it than previous albums with songs like Talking in your sleep, Breaking me up, She cries, Thief in the night etc. And Bobby G (who it has to be said takes most of the lead vocals on this album) has the perfect voice for that sound.
There are lighter moments, for instance the danceable title track, the beautiful ballad sung by Mike Nolan 'Januarys gone' and the more pop sounding 'Tears on the ballroom floor' with Cheryl Baker on lead vocal.
It includes three singles 'Talking in your sleep', 'Golden days' and 'I hear talk'.
Bucks Fizz had grown up and become all adult, but lost none of their appeal, and for me this is possibly their best album. Now with added bonus...
