Advantages: Brings a whole new meaning to Scottish music! Disadvantages: Poorly Produced
...the sound of Scotland perfectly.
Somharie MacDonald plays the electric bass brilliantly, the funky bass lines make this band a cut above the rest, bringing the traditional jigs and reels a whole step forward. Barry (Spad) Reid on guitar continues with the "funkification" of the classic traditional beats of Scotland with some funky guitar and Wahh! Paul Jennings, on Drums, Percussion and samples, completes this masterful six piece and gladly (I'm sure) set aside the traditionalceilidh set up of high hat and snare with a full drum kit!!

MoS is great Review ofHard Energy (Mixed By Fergie & Yomanda) - Fergie & Yomandaby
Hollers3000
Advantages: Heavy Bass & variation of tunes Disadvantages: cant think of any!
...I'm not a great fan of hard trance music but after hearing this in my friends car i just had to go and buy it, its just a great album great tunes, some new some old but mixed so well together by two great dj's in Yomanda and Fergie. Its standard price for a double cd which i got for £14.99. I recommend this even if you dont think this type of music is for you as you will pump up the volume and enjoy all summer long. Im the car in the house or just in your ears down the beach this cd is a must have for all people with a dancing bone in there body. Well done Mos on another great 3 hours of music...

Advantages: Aural textures to die for. Disadvantages: The last track!
...Released soon after "Achtung Baby", this is a difficult album to like at first, but give it a chance to grow on you and you'll be rewarded ten-fold. The opening title track extends and grows (mutates?) into something extraordinary, "Lemon" grinds away insistently, "Babyface" is like some perverted love song, and only the tacky "The Wanderer" spoils things at the end (thank goodness for programmable CD players!) The whole feel of the album is like one gigantic, futuristic advertising jingle - with Bono singing out words and phrases to a background of musical textures created by the Edge. An L.P. for the 21st century....
