...so many drum & bass, cds so little time Pick this one . nicely selected, well programmed, and a good overview of the genre, This takes you from the roots of D+B to its present day dizzy heights, this well priced two-disc set is what you need to get a party going. from Goldie and Roni Size to the Rebel MC with a little bit of LTJ Bukem to smooth things out in a smooth fashion. This cd is a really good two hour history lesson and is a great reminder of just how great the UK is at inventing new styles of music .Spread over two cds this is a great way to kill a few hours getting lost in fast beats and bottomless bass lines ,great for motorway driving !!!... ...- Twist 'Em Out Track 14. Di - Don't Wanna Know (Dillinja remix) Track 15. Shimon & Andy C - Body Rock 19. DJ Marky - LK (Carolina Carol Bela) The reason i like these tracks is that they arent quite true drum and bass they are a more dance mix of drum and bass and all have fantastic lyrics to go with the tune. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Here are some of the lyrics: ~Adam F - Stand Clear~ Die for the cause (*whispering*) Bitch! ...three great mix cds in one pack and mixed by the legendary dj hype. this cd is full of every style of drum n bass. this is a great way of hearing all styles in one mix set, from jump up to jazzy, dark and ragga and more soulfull tracks. not many people mix all style when djing drum n bass but hype does it and does it well. best thing of all they decided not to have an mc rapping over the tune and this is a great advantage to this cd and just lets the music do the talking. there are also a few vocal tracks on this cd aswell. there are so many styles/genres of drum n bass aspecially in britain [home of dnb] this cd really does all justice. there has some great exclusives versions of tracks on this as well which makes it even more special. everyone should have a copy of this for sure and even people that dont like drum n bass...
