...Phil Collins ...Hits has 16 of his most popular songs, and is one of my favorite CD's.
Songs it contains are:
1. ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE 5.22 from 1989...'BUT SERIOUSLY'
A great song recently remade by Brandy and Ray J. This like many of Phils songs contain great lyrics and tell the story of an old homeless woman.
2. TRUE COLORS 4.33 from 1988...'HITS'
Like in all of Phils songs he plays the drums in this one. It was sang on a car advert by a young girl.
3. EASY LOVER 5.03 from 984...'CHINESE WALL'
4. YOU CAN'T HURRY LOVE 2.53 from 1982...'HELLO... I MUST BE GOING'
5. TWO HEARTS 3.25 from 1989...'BUSTER' soundtrack
This is one of two songs from the film BUSTER where Phil played Ronnie Biggs, The Great Train robber who was in the news recently after returning to England.

Advantages: Songs of a wide variety of styles Disadvantages: None!!!
...If you loved the film then you are sure to love the soundtrack just as much. I listen to no other soundtrack as often as I do this one. I was lucky enough to get the special edition with 2 CDs and so every song in the film is on it including the closing credits music 'Bolero'. Although some songs are on both CDs there are many on the second that aren't on the first including the original film versions of 'Spectacular, Spectacular,' 'like a virgin,' and 'The show must go on'. I really do think this is the most fantastic soundtrack ever!!! I could listen to it all day!
Although as I know others have mentioned a couple of the songs aren't so good of the 27 on both CDs together I like all but 2! Definitely a CD to get if you loved the film....

Advantages: Welcome to Cuba, Bond Vs Oakenfold Disadvantages: Die Another Day and Antonov
...To put it simlply, this is a poor soundtrack from David Arnold. The highlights of this album include the remix version of the "02. James Bond Theme Bond Vs Oakenfold" (DJ Remix Version) and the song "06. Welcome To Cuba" apart from that, this is a poor musical soundtrack. I listen to it from time to time but not a lot and not to every track. The tracks from the opening sequence (Tracks 04 & 05) are good. However "14. Antonov" from the big finale is far too long at 11 minutes. The CD is enhanced and has a few extras but nothing that you can;t get on the internet these days anyway. The inlay is poor and doesn't have as much info as the Remaster edition Bond Soundtracks have.
This is only for those who buy the James Bond Soundtracks or are a fan of David Arnold...
