Advantages: Good review website.
Disadvantages: Little or none if you are careful.

on websites such as myspace and facebook which gives added chance of people clicking on to the review and this means of course earning a few extra pennies in account credit. In terms of earning money here people who view a review, the author receives around 1-5 cents each time. People with 5 star reading and rating status obviously earn more money than a 3 star writer and 2 star rater like myself. If there is anything to go by, the quality reviews get rewarded as opposed to the non sensical or rushed reviews as I have certainly noticed on both Helium.com and on Ciao. I know that certain business topics get generous account earnings as the highest rated review I have has earned me over 8 american dollars to date. Money the Helium way

Advantages: Money, money and more money
Disadvantages: Competitions can feel fixed

In recent months I've been writing more for Helium.com which originally seemed like a way to recycle stuff I'd already written for dooyoo and ciao. It seemed to make sense if it was possible to get more money for work I've already done, I might as well do it, it was stupid not to really. Similar to a lot of sites out there it allows the users opinions and views to be published openly on the internet, a bit like a consumer review site meets a wikipedia sort of thing to be honest. It allowed people to write about almost anything, be it poetry or consumer reviews, video games cheats to sports biographies, short stories to cooking tips it was all here.
