Advantages: The biggest selling records from a memorable musical era Disadvantages: No Beatles, No Rolling Stones, No Elvis
...Silver Lining, this is another classic track which fully justifies its inclusion on this album.
RELEASE ME - ENGELBERT HUMPERDINCK
Engelbert's first hit came eight years after his recording debut. His revival of this 17 year old country song spent 56 weeks on the chart and sold more than a million in the UK alone. Needs to introduction.
PUPPET ON A STRING - SANDIE SHAW
Who can forget the image of the young temptress appearing in the Eurovision Song contest in bare feet. The first British song to win the Eurovision Song Contest made Shaw the first female to amass three numbers 1's, a record only bettered by Madonna in 1987.
DELILAH - TOM JONES

...that fine sight every day, for it to have suddenly gone was hard to stomach I’m sure. The good thing is that the world, let alone the US, has someone like Bruce to speak out and get his opinions across. The intention of ‘The Rising’ was never to sell millions or rake in the dollar, it was to simply get one nations thoughts out through one man, a man that I’m sure a lot of people respect and agree with. Album Details
The album as 17 tracks including intro’s and outro’s (See track listing). It was made in 1996 under the record company Blackground Records – www.blackground.com (Part of the Virgin Group). The album has various producers (Please see track listing for producers).
I personally feel the album suit all moods. It’s not too up beat but still can get you in the mood to go out and have a good time. It has it’s sad moment, it’s sexy moments and it’s quite chilled...
