Advantages: You learn about the real people of Tudor times, not just Royalty! Disadvantages: Expensive maybe, location might be considered too out of the way.
, archery and falconry." We didn't see any of that, but if I had been visiting this as a 10 year old, I'm sure I would have found it enjoyable.
I couldn't tell if the four or five staff who we met were employed by the School or they came up from Portsmouth with the exhibits but we found them all to be friendly and receptive.
I would highly recommend a visit to 'Hidden Treasures'. I came away from it far more interested in the time of the Tudors than walking around any historic house looking at paintings of noblemen has ever done.

Did you know:
* it was compulsory for all boys from the age of 6 to learn archery in England? Presumably with a view to protecting the Kingdom, in a medieval form of National Service; and that
* The Mary Rose sank in only 14 metres of water?

. Now I know that we are looking at cameras today with 8+ megapixels but a 2.0 is fine as long as you don't plan to blow up the resulting pictures as you may find the quality compromised. This camera will take crisp, clear pictures and has a built in auto focus. One of the best pictures I took on my whole trip was from a moving rickety bus in the Cook Islands and everyone comments on what a great picture it is.
There is an LCD screen (about an inch in diameter) on the back to help you focus you shots. Like many of the models in the Cybershot range the DSC-U30 offers good pictures at low light levels without using the flash function. The flash itself when used is not to sharp and the resulting pictures are soft and full of colour. The flash actually fires twice, the first time illuminates the image and allows the camera to set ...
Advantages: Nice insight into the controversial aspects to Roy's playing career Disadvantages: Doesn't cover his time at Celtic, or any of his managerial work
I have to admit that when my beloved Ipswich Town FC appointed Roy Keane as manger a couple of months ago I was a little sceptical. Most of what I knew about Roy came from the press and news coverage, most of it negative, which seemed to follow him around. Determined to give the latest bastion of the Ipswich hot seat a fair crack of the whip I set about finding out a little more about the man behind the hype and headlines. My Brother recommended his autobiography which he?d penned in 2002 with the help of journalist Eamon Dunphy, so I gave it a read.
Roy Maurice Keane was born in Cork, Ireland in the summer of 1971, the fourth of five children. He was a mediocre performer at school, preferring to be out kicking a ball around than in a class studying. A smattering of junior Irish clubs came calling, most notably Rockmount. He ...

Personnel: The Supersonics, Tommy McCook, Treasure Isle All Stars. An absolutely essential compilation that offers an intriguing glance into the origins of Jamaican DJ culture, 30 MASSIVE SHOTS FROM TREASURE ISLE documents U Roy's extremely fruitful late-`60s tenure at Duke Reid's Treasure Island imprint, and includes many of the finest sides that the quick-tongued DJ cut during his long and storied career. Though U Roy did not invent DJ toasting, his records for Treasure Isle did much to popularize the art and are arguably responsible for the stylistic development of later DJs like Big Youth, I Roy, and others. On these recordings U Roy puts a playful spin on rhythms originally voiced by groups like the Paragons, the Uniques, and the Sensations, transforming them from languid rocksteady into wildly celebratory dance tunes of the first order.
