30th Anniversary Celebration - Statler Brothers (The)

Advantages: Contains a vast diversity of music from David Coverdale's post Deep Purple carrier
Disadvantages: Nothing, unless you hate Whitesnake (and if you did you wouldn't be reading this)

...Whitesnakes 30th Anniversary Collection appears to be a glorified greatest hit album. However it's more than this. Its 52 tracks contain live tracks, the original version of Here I Go Again, songs from David Coverdale's (DC's) album with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and of course songs from DC's solo work. The three CD's cover the carrier of DC after he left Deep Purple. The first disc with tracks like Ready An' Willing and Fool For Your Loving (live) brings Whitesnakes blues element through to the listener beautifully. I would say the first disc is best of Whitesnakes blues. The second CD contains the Coverdale Page songs as well as more live songs and a collection of Whitesnake hits. Advantages: Good way to raise money. A bit different
Disadvantages: Raising money on comic releif is getting long in the tooth

...So BIG BROTHER has not died has it? Its been back on our screens for one week only, courtesy of comic reief. This is basically to keep it fresh in our minds, im sure of it. All in anticipation for the new series planned for the summer. Do you remember the show from last year? Where 10 people live in a house for a couple of months and get nominated, One at a time, to leave. One per week? Well, unless you have been on Mars for the last 7 days, you will know that Comic Relief have collected 6 people form the world of Showbiz, sport and light entertainment to compete in a celebrity version. Advantages: An impressively accurate and very well made re-issue of a classic retro toy.
Disadvantages: The "dilemma" ... should I open and play or keep sealed and display ???

Robots that "transformed" into vehicles was probably the coolest toy concept to have hit the shelves and for those of you lucky enough to have owned some of the first generation Transformers toys you would have been the envy of your friends !!! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY FROM THE AUTOBOTS !!! 1984 was a long time ago but to mark that special anniversary Hasbro have released a commemorative 25th Anniversary Edition of the greatest Transformer of all time ... Optimus Prime !!! And, whilst the toys based on the CGI created Optimus Prime from this summer's blockbuster may look impressive nothing can quite beat the retro feel of the original Transformers toys ... and this Optimus Prime toy has been accurately produced so that it has both the look and feel of the 1984 original.
