Tile Decals ? not a quick fix
I love D.I.Y, I can really get into re-designing rooms and getting stuck into everything. Wallpapering, painting flooring, you name it. I decided to treat my mum by decorating her bathroom for her as it was quite dated and I had some spare time on my hands. I decided to go for a total change and go for a modern, fresh look, plain pastel blue walls with the chrome look.
I was on a budget so rather than re-do the tiling all together, I just replaced the splash-back tiles over the sink and replaced just a few across the bath that were cracked. Then re-grouted them to brighten it up.
I thought a nice touch would be get some tile transfers to jazz them up abit so I bought some NEKEN embossed textured decals
As you can see from the photo they do have a nice clean and simple design. I bought them from ...

Some of you will have read my gushing review of Oliver Jeffer's 'How to Catch a Star'. Those of you that did will know how impressed I was with not only his writing style but also his gorgeous and unique illustrations. There may be some duplication from the How to catch a Star review i.e. About the author etc.

Advantages: Masterpieces...If sung by better known band they would all make number one for sure Disadvantages: The way that nobody around where i live knows about them!
My wife introduced me to the band from a single song called 'dressed to kill' on an old Kerrang album some 7 years ago now. I know 'dressed to kill' is not on the 'sticks and stones' album. After hearing the song it made me appreciate music for possibly the first time, as at the time i was only about 14! We went out searching for a 'New Found Glory' cd and came across this. It is still kept in my car cd player to this day and listened to on a very regular basis.
It hurts me when i ask people what they think of 'NFG' and they ask 'who?' They are an amazing band and you will find that as you progress through the years and through their albums their songs become less about the depressions of being rejected and more about the fears of losing somebody dear to you...OK i can hear you all asking 'why would you want to listen to any band that ...
Third album by Dublin electronica duo and their first in four years. Moving away from the electro-techno of their earlier releases, '404 Not Found' (named after the computer error message) is more ambient and adds vocals and guitars to the mix. Complex, detailed, yet mellow, the album has been compared to Arovane and Boards Of Canada.
