Advantages: Classic Bond moments in first half of the film. Disadvantages: Gadgets ruin the film, as does John Cleese as Q.
Madonna who sang the title song of the film has been given a cameo part. Her scene is completely under lit and leaves her looking rather butch. By the way the title song is not one of the memorable ones in the series and can be quite annoying after hearing it a few times.
Released in 2002, the film marked the 40thAnniversary of the franchise. The Gun Barrel sequence was adjusted slightly, a number of reference to all previous films were made throughout the film itself, the most obvious one being in the scene with the new Q where a whole scope of gadgets from previous adventures are seen. , and the use of the Aston Martin made a welcome and long overdue return to the screen as Bond's car of choice as the BMW's were not used in the film at all. The Aston Martin is put to much more use than previous film as Bond uses the car throughout ...

The Jorgensons-Olive Carey, John Qualen, Harry Carey jnr, Vera Miles.
Most members of John Fords repertory company.

Cavalry troopers in formation ...
Advantages: Contains a vast diversity of music from David Coverdale's post Deep Purple carrier Disadvantages: Nothing, unless you hate Whitesnake (and if you did you wouldn't be reading this)
Whitesnakes 30thAnniversaryCollection appears to be a glorified greatest hit album. However it's more than this. Its 52 tracks contain live tracks, the original version of Here I Go Again, songs from David Coverdale's (DC's) album with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin and of course songs from DC's solo work. The three CD's cover the carrier of DC after he left Deep Purple.
The first disc with tracks like Ready An' Willing and Fool For Your Loving (live) brings Whitesnakes blues element through to the listener beautifully. I would say the first disc is best of Whitesnakes blues.
The second CD contains the Coverdale Page songs as well as more live songs and a collection of Whitesnake hits. The third CD contains the song Best Years from Whitesnakes latest album and We Wish You Well the song Whitesnake wrote for their audiences but have ...
