...As a proud owner of this album myself I can tell you that by buying it you will not be dissapointed. As an avid fan of 60's music myself, yet not from that era myself, i was as eager as anyone to get my hands on this product regardless! Personally I enjoyed tracks 3,7, and 9 best. Some of the good old classics! Admittedly the other ones may have been slightly poorly chosen, but I assume it was some poor uneducated survey collector somewhere who was asked to choose them. Regardless of this I think it is an excellent album. When the album itself was delivered to me it arrived promptly and in good condition, I am just saying this because i had concerns it may have had been bodged, fortunately I was mistaken .... Advantages: A great album, thathas bought back many pleasant memories
Disadvantages: A pity there a not 100 songs available

...My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the songs contained in this album. Although I was bought up in Australia & my wife in Wales, both of us recalled every song. The amazing thing was after 40 years we knew every song word for word. The album consists of 2 CD's with 60 songs, from artist in UK, Australia and USA. We have a number of LP records that include the songs contained in the album, but we can't play them. The fact that they are all on a CD brings life in 2005 to 60's hits. Hits that would be lost forever if it wasn't for modern technology. We highly recommend this album to those who can remember the 60's and want to relive those great days.... Read review

Advantages: An inexpensive compilation featuring classic tracks.
Disadvantages: You may already have some of the many tracks.

...As I had already purchased the 60's & 70's version of this compilation and found it not only good to use to set questions for music quizzes but also good to listen to, I decided to buy this set when I saw it in the shops. At a price of £19.95 but this time for only 8 CDs with less tracks it does not represent as good value if you simply compare the price/number of tracks ratio. However the overall quality and choice of songs makes it at least equal in value to its forerunner. Again many classic tracks (all original recordings) are featured and amongst the artistes are Kim Wilde, Culture Club, Blondie, Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran,Eddie Grant, Kate Bush and Dr. Hook to name but a few....
