Advantages: Jack White & Brendan Benson Disadvantages: A Bit Depressing
...The Raconteur's (Jack Lawrence, Brendan Benson, Jack White and Patrick Keeler) Debut album, Broken Boy soldiers is a breath of fresh air in the music world! Benson & White's vocals go surprisingly well together and the album manages to retain a good blues feel to it throughout (although this is mainly a rocky album). White's haunting guitar playing and solos bring a great "AIR" to the songs. Backed up by Keeler's superb Drumming and Held together by Jack Lawrence's chunky Baselines. I'm going to stick with "Steady, As She Goes" (track 1) as the best song on the album and unsurprisingly this was released as a single.
Cover/Inlay: On the cover is a gothic-style photo of the band.

Advantages: Their Best Album Disadvantages: Shame it has to End....
...Excellent ***** If you like Led-Zep, You'll love this!!!
Consolers Of The Lonely is the second instalment from the Raconteurs (Jack Lawrence, Brendan Benson, Jack White and Patrick Keeler) brought to us by Third Man/XL Recordings. This CD is way better than their Debut album! Hands down. Jack White, Guitar Hero and song writing legend will go down in history and hopefully will be making records like this for years to come. Track 1, "Consoler of the Lonely", is a hard-hitting tune, which twists and turns (the tempo changes on several occasions). Full credit to Patrick Keeler's Drumming from the outset. Benson and White share the lyrics throughout and their vocal ranges work great together. Track 3, "You Don't Understand Me" is the best on the album. If you don't yet own this CD Make sure you go buy it NOW! It won't disappoint...

Advantages: Fantastic Hit records Disadvantages: A few you don`t know
...and I remember her kicking away whilst still in my tummy. `Never Give Up On A Good Thing, remember what makes you happy, Ohh ohh`. Another fantasic record that was played and played in the discos of the UK. Taken from the Album - The George Benson Collection.
4) Love X Love - Released in 1980 and one of Georges best singles. Pure soul and so soothing. A very romantic song. `Cause we got Love X Love`. Mr Benson, master of seduction. Taken from the Album - Give Me The Night.
5) Nothing`s Gonna Change My Love For You - Released in 1984. A nice slow smoochy one. Maybe one that I would pick for my first dance at a wedding. Beautiful. `Nothing`s Gonna Change My Love You, you ought to know by now how much I love you`. Great chorus. Taken from the Album - 20/20.
6) The Greatest Love Of All - Released in 1977. Another nice easy to listen to song...
