Good Intro to the Traditional Sounds of South-Eastern Europe

Advantages: great selection, good variety
Disadvantages: somehow mistitled, mostly traditional stuff

used to be in Middle Europe before WW2, while after that, despite having its borders move several hundred miles to the west, it become part of Eastern Europe), but usually refers to the countries of the former Soviet block (and sometimes includes Greece). On this album, "Eastern Europe" is actually more of an alternative label for the Balkans. Most tracks come from artists from Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and countries of former Yugoslavia, although there is one track from a Russian band, and one from Polish mountains. I can understand this, as the Balkans are probably musically the most interesting and there is only very limited number of connoisseurs of GDR disco and other more obscure manifestations of Eastern European music. This One's For All The Jerks

Advantages: Lots of big tunes
Disadvantages: Low-quality production

Stars** 4. ?Want Me For My D**k? Using the catchy structure that is found in many Jerkin? song, this one has them utilise this, and take it in a way so that the D.O.H. Gang are able to make a fun tune that has them talking on how the girls simply won?t leave them alone. It is a fresh tune and one of the best on the thing as they appear to be taking lots of what they do from the Ying Yang Twins? ?Naggin?? and make go well to transform it into a Jerkin? tune. **Five Stars** 5. ?Toot My S**t? Vixen Ent. return for this one and come in nicely here as they perform a track that features some lively beats that, once again, use lots of the Snap Music elements (and even reference a popular Snap track from Soulja Boy along the way as they perform one where they rap about the kinds of things they tend to do to impress the girls whilst they are ...

Music For Reflection

Advantages: Some lovely songs, some great vocals
Disadvantages: A few weak links, Some tried songs which were too big for them

I had seen this CD advertised on the TV several times and the tracks which were featured made it sound really good. I was not prepared to pay the full price for it though so wanted until it came down a few pounds. The CD is a double one and has 40 tracks, 20 on each disk. I am not going to give my opinion of each individual song as it would make this review go on for far too long. The track lists are as follows:- Disk 1 1.
