Usher is a massively famous artist all over the world! he has sold more records than anyone in the last two years. His first album was called my way, and was a quiet success. So he decided to release this phenomenal album "8701". It went straight to the top of the charts when released. I strongly recommend this film if you want to chill out to music ! Every track is fantastic and the lyrics are sublime and make sense !
U remind me- the lyrics in this song are about him telling a girl who he likes that he cant be with her no more because she reminds him of a girl he was mistreated by.
I dont know- this is about a party and he basically just says that the girl can be boring at the party but that wont spoil it for him because he came to party.
Twork it out- the lyrics in song are about usher saying to girlfriend lets stay in tonight, leave the clubs and lets make sweet love. And it is alos about him treated his girl the right way.
U got it bad- this is about people bringing other people down, people who are alone, Its about everyone who has it bad. Very touching and brilliant song.
Pop ya collar- this song is about if people try and bring you down then just turn your back on them and keep your head held high. Pop ya collar!!
If i want to- In this song he loves himself because he says that he could take you ( a girl) away from their man if he wanted, so he is saying that if he wants her then he can have her easily.
I cant let you go- this song is about him breaking up with a girl, but he still feels for her and like the title says he doesnt want to let her go.
U dont have call- In this he is saying that the girl wont have to call him because he will already be there for her.
Can u help me- this song he is trying to help himself out to try and decide wot to do. He is confused and wants to reasure himself.
How do i say- This song is about a him seeing a girl and he cant say enough how much he likes her, lost for words.
Hottest thing- This is a song where he is in a club and he spots a gorgeus lady and he just compliments her.
Good oi ghetto- this is him just praising the ghetto.
U turn- this is about how is life has completely turned around since he has become a famous artist.
T.T.P- This is about him now that he has grown up, him trying to be respectable, intelectual.
Seperated- This is a song full of similies, comparing him not being with the girl he loves with fire without a flame, sky without a sun, etc...
I love the lyrics in all of the songs and because the album in nice and slow you can really hear and understand the words.
