I was reading an interview with A1 on the internet the other day, and honestly they had me in stitches, what a gang of self-obssessed idiots they sound like.
The headline to the interview was "We are the new Beatles" Honestly, They went on to say that if the Beatles where around nowadays, they would be similar to them, I mean this is a group that has had 1 number one record, and basicly about 4 or 5 top ten entries. So this really entitles them to state such a pathetic quote NOT.
I actually thought their version of "Take on Me" was ok, not brilliant, but OK (The original by A-HA was much better), but apart from this, they are nothing but a little girls heart throb group.
In the inerview, they where having a go at every-one, they slated Oasis, saying they where crap, they also had a go at "The Spice girls and Britney Spears" Now dont get me wrong, I dont like either of "Spice girls or Britney", but respect to them, they have done a lot, and for this gang of sqeaky clean, ponced up pop group to slate them is a joke.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
It beggars belief really, doesn't it, how a band like this can compare themselves to the Beatles! Louise. x

Well said!! It's about time someone did something about all these pathetic teenage boy bands. Will any one remember them in 5 years time? I think not. They'll be lucky to be doing the rounds at Butlins Holiday Camps.
Advantages: Play instruments, write their own songs, sing live, can dance...(let me know when to stop) Disadvantages: Are still seen as being 'just another cheesy boyband'

Advantages: You Only Tell Me You Love Me When You're Drunk is a greatly song - simultaneously funny and depressing. The B-SIdes and live tracks are good,.. Disadvantages: ...it's a shame all the mixes couldn't have been up to the standard of those by Brother Brown.
