I've always been a big fan of John Thaw since seeing an Inspector Morse episode as a young teenager. His amazing ability to bring a character to life and suck you into the role grabbed me from the offset and I followed his TV work ever since. John was born in Manchester on 3rd January 1942 and always wanted to be an actor. He was encouraged by his teachers and at the age of 16 he joined RADA and trained as an actor. John Thaw had parts in many television shows, films and stage shows including: Redcap, The Sweeney, Dead Man's Chest, Thick as thieves and more recently Inspector Morse and Kavanagh Q.C. After his death in 2002 from cancer it was decided to release a tribute to John in the form of a DVD box set. In November of the same year this set was released. Operation Boring

Advantages: Some slight humour
Disadvantages: Characters and Plot is unrealistic and there isnt too much depth to it

I had never read any of Jenny Colgan?s books before, so I didn?t quite know what to expect when I read Operation Sunshine as I couldn?t compare it to any of her other books. Jenny Colgan has written quite a few books and from what I gather mostly all of her books are Chic Lit. Even although i had never read any of her books before I had heard of a few of her more popular ones such as Amanda?s Wedding, West End Girl?s and the most recent Diamond?s are a Girl?s best friend. Operation Sunshine was released in June 2008 prior to Diamond?s are a Girl?s Best Friend in May 2009. Operation Sunshine is a book about 20 something Evie, who is a pretty average girl from the way she is described in the book. She works as a receptionist for 2 plastic surgeons in a Harley Street Clinic, where there are lots of people of all ages coming and going ...

Crate or Cage?

Advantages: Helps toilet training, secure and safe place for your dog
Disadvantages: Could be misused if you leave your dog in it for a long time, takes up quite a bit of space

When you are preparing to bring a puppy home there are lots of things you need to have a bed, food and water bowls, toys, collar and a lead. Alongside all these items we also bought a Dog-it Animal Crate made by Hagen when we brought our puppy home in July. Why a crate? = Our breeder recommended a crate both for toilet training and also for providing the puppy with a safe area so he wouldn't come to any harm when we weren't there and also so he couldn't damage things when we were out. A crate is basically a large cage designed for your dog. The crate we bought We bought a Dog-it 2 door wire crate, our breeder was kind enough to take us to a pet cash and carry and these were the ones available there and we got it for a lot cheaper than it retails in the shops or online.
