...If you're starting out as a George Benson fan or just being a completist, this is definitely the compilation to go for! Perfect for summer days and really uplifting for the winter nights. I had this album on constant replay when I was revising for my exams this year and judging by my results, something inspired me! Whether you want to freak out or chill out, this is the album for you. If you were a fan of Michael Jackson's 'Off the wall' or anything Quincy Jones was producing in the late 70s/early 80s (Brothers Johnson, 'Ai No Corrida' etc.) you're bound to love 'Give me the night' or 'Love x Love.' ...Mr George Benson has come to my music rescue and delived us his greatest hits of all. This album cost me £11.99 from Play.com (a great price). 1) Give Me The Night - Released in 1980. A brilliant song that most of us will remember. A song that some of us (30 plus) will remember from our teen discos and youth club nights. `Cause there`s music in the air and lots of loving everywhere, Give me the Night. Taken form the Album - Give Me The Night. 2) Turn Your Love Around - Released in 1981. Another brilliant song. Again, one that sticks in my mind and brings back lots of great memories from my youth. `Turn your love around, don`t you show me how`. Great song. Advantages: Pure Quality from the start
Disadvantages: absoulutly nothing

...head to not to violently as that could cause some serious brain damage :-) but it is a good song as it wakes you up a bit. Gold Into Straw : This song is great for the lyrics and the vocals and of course the guitars are great as per usual. Also there are some unusual instruments that make an appearance and they are welcome. What I'm Looking For : This song featured in an OC episode and so it obviously is very good. Lots of keyboard being used and some pretty good guitar but mainly just strumming. Between Us : The opening to this song sounds like a mixture of Monster Mash (The song not a band)and Kaiser Chiefs. Then the style completely changes and becomes more relaxing then into increases tempo with the aid of some keyboard and continuing with the guitar.
