Advantages: Couldn't happen to a nicer fellow. Disadvantages: None.
Going for Gold, and achieving it! Hearty congratulations to Jonathan Edwards on his truly magnificent achievement of the Gold Medal in the Olympic Games in Sydney.
Whilst many of the pundits forecast glory for Jonathan, I was somewhat dubious, as he often just misses out on the ultimate glory of winning a major prize. This time, however, he reaped his just desserts with a triple jump which beat the rest of the World's best.
He always comes accross as a very quiet, unassuming, very religeous person, who truly represents the very best of good old-fashioned character. It is therefore refreshing to see that the Good Guys do still win. He sets a shining example to the youth of today, and I for one am overjoyed with his success. Long may it continue! ...

Advantages: All the basics plus more. Nectar Points!! Disadvantages: Bit more pricey than other places
Whilst browsing through various products on Ciao, I was flabbergasted to see this particular category, and well, I thought - who better to write a review on this lil Petrol Station than someone who knows it inside out. Slade End, is one of two petrol stations in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire the other being West Park Street, both of them are Budgens and BP garages, ran by James Graven and Son, who also owns a garage in Ely, and a couple of Budgens stores in Soham and Dersingham. The owner, is the one and only Jonathan James, I met him a few times, and he was generous enough to pay for the wine at our Christmas Party in ...
Advantages: Great size Disadvantages: Bit run down, The bar can close early, even if it is open all night.
Bought by the same people who owned the legendary 'Marquee club' in London in the early 90s, it was converted from a methodist chuch on Birmingham's Corporation street. The Que club is a large place with various sized rooms to cater for all sizes of events. The main room does remind you of an old assembly hall in a school but can hold at least 2000 people. The whole complex could probably cram in around 4000 with the opening of 'The Chapel' in 1998, which is a fairly decent sized room in itself. Many top promoters from around the UK use this venue for their events, such as 'Ministry of Sound','Cream' and 'House of God'. It also is a great venue for gigs.
The general feel of the place is a bit on the run down side but this tends to add to the whole experience. It has most of it's original fittings, giving it a victorian gothic look. It ...
